Being partners, we bring a wealth of knowledge and experience into the company.  Our specialties and experiences are as follow:

We have an applied psychologist, Lynette Odidi Yogo, BA Applied Psychology, Graduate Dip. Applied Psychology and Diploma in Counseling.  She is an author “Sparkling Memories – the Secret to Improving Your Brain Power”.  She has a passion on promoting skills for sustenance, is an anti jigger campaign activist, has a passion for issues affecting children and their safety. Lynette is also a Chartered Banker.

We have Tabitha Ochieng Educational Psychologist (Guidance and Counseling); she has taught in several secondary schools and a TTC. She has also worked in both Maseno and Moi Universities.  Tabitha has a passion for counseling and community work.  She is a Masters Student at Maseno University.  She has also worked Family Support Community Based Organization (FASCOBI) as an assistant Director, offering trainings and counseling services.

We have an Education Psychologist, Dr Pamela Raburu, PhD Educational Psychology. Master of Arts in Psychology and Bachelors of Education.  She is currently a lecturer at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology.  She is also Chairperson of Department of Psychology.  She is also a motivational speaker and a counselor.

We have a Sociologist, Berline Amollo, who is currently working in the NGO world and bring a wealth of knowledge on social issues in families. She is a Diploma Certificate Holder of Counseling Psychology and currently at Mount Kenya University for Bachelors of Sociology. She has worked in several NGO in and out of Kisumu areas and is quite conversant with children’s’ issues.  Currently she is the Project Manager of Capstone Ministries.


Currently as Optimum Life Choices we have a Memorandum of Understanding with

  1. Kisumu County Hospital, where we do counseling for defiled children and their parents or guardians; we do counseling for the sick and trauma patients.
  2. Nishi Pandit and Co. Advocates, who do pro-bono cases for the defiled children.

We have worked and continue working together with Kenya National Commission for Human Rights (KNCHR), GBVRC (Gender Based Violence Rescue Centre), KEFEADO (Kenya Female Advisory Organization), several children homes and Churches especially the Anglican Churches.

We have also worked with the county offices especially the Kisumu County Education office, Kisumu Sub County Education Office in Ojola and Kisumu Childrens’ Department.
